Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting

The 2017 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, a worldwide symbol of the holidays in New York, will be lit for the first time on Wednesday, November 29, with live performances from 7–9 p.m., at Rockefeller Plaza.

Central Park Holiday Lighting

Charles A. Dana Discovery Center, 110th Street between Lenox Avenue and Fifth Avenue

Celebrate the season at our 21st Annual Holiday Lighting in Central Park. Meet Santa and friends, watch a live ice carving demonstration, sing carols on the Plaza, and warm up with hot cocoa and cookies. The event concludes with lighting a flotilla of trees on the Harlem Meer.
