In September, New York City hosts numerous cultural and public events, including
the Feast of San Gennaro,
New York Fashion Week,
the Global Citizen Festival,
the Brooklyn Book Festival,
the New York Film Festival, and
the opening of the NYC Ballet season.
September is also a great time for sports, with the end of the US Open and the start of the
American football season. The weather is mild, making it ideal for walking through
Central Park and enjoying the city’s many outdoor offerings before the fall chill sets in.
