Almost all the Museums in Madrid are free at some point of the week or of the year.
You just have to know what they are and write down their schedule in your agenda to be able to enjoy them.

Reina Sofia Museum
The Reina Sofía Museum is the capital’s contemporary art museum and one of the most important in the world.
You will find works by artists such as Picasso, Salvador Dalí or Joan Miró.

- Hours: The Reina Sofía Museum is free for children under 18, over 65 and students under 25 (with valid ID). It is also free on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 19:00 to 21:00. Sundays from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., May 18 and December 6.

Archeological Museum
The Archaeological Museum of Madrid is located on Calle Serrano and shares a building with the National Library of Spain.
This wonderful Museum serves to bring the public closer to the culture and history of Spain, taking them on a journey from prehistory to the 19th century.

Prado Museum
The Prado Museum is one of the best art galleries in the world.
Created thanks to the Spanish kings of the 16th and 17th centuries.
You will find works by artists such as El Bosco, El Greco, Rubens, Velázquez or Goya and new temporary exhibitions.
- Opening hours: it is free from Monday to Saturday from 18:00 to 20:00. Sundays and holidays from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
