F1 Miami Grand Prix 2023 guide

Formula 1® Miami Grand Prix returns to Hard Rock Stadium this May 5 to 7, bringing South Florida racing fans closer to the action once again. Following last year’s success, the F1 World Championship promises a bigger and better event with three days worth of world-class experiences. Expect the same asphalt-burning (3.36 miles worth!) excitement, beginning with a practice round Friday and a qualifying race Saturday, all leading up to the Grand Prix on Sunday. This year’s spectacle features an action-packed weekend of events and performances you don’t want to miss—plus a ton of gastronomical delights. When is the F1 Miami Grand Prix?

The race takes place over three days on May 5, 6 and 7, 2023.

Where is the F1 Miami Grand Prix?

Most of the events, including the race itself, are happening at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The official Formula 1® Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix kicks off on Thursday, May 4, with a concert by Latin music’s most iconic duo, Wisin & Yandel, at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida. 

Is the 2023 Miami Grand Prix sold out?

A limited number of tickets is still available to purchase on the official website, and resale options are also available via third-party sellers. Campus passes are also available online now.

What food will be available at Hard Rock Stadium during F1 Miami?

F1 chose 65 restaurants to participate in this year’s event, which will be available across the campus and via hospitality experiences. Plus, don’t miss 14 local, minority-owned restaurants and a bevy of beverage options, including the signature cocktail of the race — the Herradura Ultra MIA Margarita. 

You’ll find food from the following South Florida eateries over the weekend: Bodega Taqueria y Tequila, (Mexican) Cantina La Veinte (Latin), Casa Florida (tropical craft cocktails and bites), dōma (Mediterranean cuisine), Café Versailles (Cuban), Tacology (Mexican-style market), Harry’s Pizzeria (laidback pizzeria), Pubbelly Sushi (fusion of Japanese and Latin–inspired dishes), Dos Croquetas (handcrafted croquetas), Drinks On Me 305 (American food truck), Italian Vice (gourmet Italian ice company), SDC Treats (small-batch, from-scratch treats), Ten’s Kitchen (soul food and Caribbean dishes), Pink Love Donuts & More (bakery and doughnut shop) and more.

In addition, Formula 1® Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix will welcome James Beard Foundation Award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein, who will showcase her modern take on Latin American cuisine at the luxury Yacht Club hospitality and MIA Marina general admission areas; Dave Grutman of Groot Hospitality’s world-famous eateries is partnering with 72 Club presented by J.P. Morgan Payments on the Miami International Autodrome Campus and will serve a selection of signature items from his many restaurants; Major Food Group (of Carbone, Dirty French, and  ZZ’s Club fame) will be at the iconic Palm Club, providing food, beverage and hospitality; over at the hospitality lounge at Turn 1 will be the Casa Tua Trackside Club, featuring traditional Italian cuisine; and so much more.
