The free concerts that will take place at the Fiestas de San Lorenzo de El Escorial

One of the best plans during the Madrid summer is to escape to a town where your Patron Saint Festivities are held. From August 9 to 15 San Lorenzo de El Escorial celebrates its own and the City Council has prepared a program for all tastes and ages: parades, children’s activities, sports tournaments, discounts and acts of honor to the boss. In addition, the large plate of the celebrations will be the free concerts of Los Secretos and Dani Fernández.

One of the scenes of the festivities will be Park ( Sta. Clara Street, 42 ) where young people and adults can enjoy the best live music until the day of the Assumption. In the venue some of the most important orchestras on the national scene will play, the August 11 it will be the turn of the Vulkano Orchestra and on the 12th of the Venice Orchestra. In addition, there will be Discomóviles in which the most current music will be played on days 9,13 and 14.

There will also be great tributes to artists like the one that will take place in El Parque de los G men on the 15th or that of Rocío Jurado on the 10th in the Plaza de la Constitución. The popular music will be present at these Patron Saint Festivities, with the celebration of first meeting Escofolk, on the 13th, with a large musical parade of different groups that will later perform in the different squares of the town.
