Forever Van Gogh Madrid 2023: dates, times and tickets

From September 12 to November 19, 2023  you can enjoy the Forever Van Gogh theatrical show .

An enveloping show that reflects the life of Vincent Van Gogh through his paintings.

A show where art, music, theater and new technologies merge to offer the public a unique experience, with a soundtrack designed by violinist Ara Malikian and choreographies by Chevi Muraday.

You will find it at the Marquina Theater in Madrid.

What is Forever Van Gogh like?

Forever Van Gogh is a  theatrical show that reflects the life and work of the renowned painter, through his paintings, a whole sensory journey into the madness of genius.

The theater will come to life becoming a canvas thanks to the use of  Artificial Intelligence , which allows attendees to be part of the artist’s most iconic paintings.

A true story of a life full of frustrations is presented thanks to a legacy made up of more than 700 letters that were sent between Vincent and his brother Theo.

The work focuses on the last ten years of the artist and, in parallel, tells the story of the recent appearance and sale of his painting  Peasant in front of a hut . A montage that provokes the emotion of the public that will be fascinated by the true story of a life full of dreams.

The use of technology allows, during the work, the author’s paintings to be positioned as protagonists.

This project that invites you to discover the different moments in the life of an artist, through its different creative stages, has a cast made up of 13 actors and the use  of audiovisual projections produced with the most advanced technological resources in the performing arts.
