New York Fashion Week
The New York Fashion Week Fall 2020 Calendar: The Who, What, Where, When, and Why
BY ELISEÉ BROWCHUKFebruary 4, 2020
After a long month of men’s shows, pre-fall appointments, and couture collections, it’s finally time for New York Fashion Week. The shows don’t officially start until Friday, but things are starting with a bang—and on opposite sides of the country. Monse and Rag & Bone will kick things off here in New York, while Tom Ford is showing his new collection in Los Angeles (likely to a celebrity-studded audience). Friday night will also give us one of the month’s biggest parties: the Fenty pop-up for Rihanna’s latest collection at Bergdorf Goodman (fingers crossed Rih makes an appearance!).
The weekend’s back-to-back lineup will keep the momentum going with shows and presentations starting on the hour from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Don’t miss 2019’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner Christopher John Rogers on Saturday night, wake up early for Tory Burch’s takeover at Sotheby’s on the following morning, and be sure to stay up for Eckhaus Latta at the South Street Seaport on Tuesday night. Other local favorites like Batsheva and Zero + Maria Cornejo have opted for intimate presentations in lieu of runway shows, while Brandon Maxwell is staging his runway in the Museum of Natural History, surrounded by epic scenes from nature.
Phil Oh will be shooting his best-in-class street style photos, too, while Corey Tenold is set to photograph all of the top models backstage. Before the action starts, download the Vogue Runway app, follow along on our Instagram Stories, and scroll through the entire NYFW schedule, below.
