Pan con tomate with Mediterranean bluefin tuna tartare and citrus

Ingredients

Serves 2 | 20 min. | Easy 

  • 300 g bluefin tuna
  • 6 slices ciabatta bread
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 orange
  • 1 lemon
  • Herbs to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Baby leaves and flowers
  • Salt flakes

 

Grate the tomato with a grater, add a clove of garlic, also grated, a dash of olive oil and salt and pepper. Toast the bread in the oven for 5 minutes, with a little oil.

Cut the bluefin tuna for the tartare with a knife. Add the tuna to a salad bowl, zest the orange and lemon and add eight tablespoons of olive oil and the sliced spring onion. Season the tartare with salt and pepper and add aromatic herbs to taste.

Spread a bit of grated tomato on the toast, then add a portion of tuna tartare and garnish with baby leaves and flowers. Finish with a dash of olive oil and salt flakes.
