Construction is well underway on a pair of tall apartment towers in busy South Park, and a promotional website for the luxury rental complex (first spotted by Urbanize LA) offers a glimpse of what the project will look like when it’s complete.

Called Hope + Flower, the development will bring two new high-rises to a block-long lot along 12th Street (between Hope and Flower Streets, if you hadn’t already guessed). Among the many skyscrapers now in the works around Los Angeles, the two buildings will rise 31 stories and 40 stories, respectively.

The luxury complex from Canadian developer Onni Group is set to include a combined 730 new apartments above 7,873 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. Parking for 843 motor vehicles and 811 bikes will be housed in an enormous garage with four underground levels and seven above ground.

A new rendering of the development casts the glassy structures in a moody evening glow, showing off their sleek design style, as well as how much they’ll tower over a five-story office building that already exists on the project site.

According to plans for the project, it will include more than 70,000 square feet of amenity-rich open space for residents to enjoy. Tenants of the complex will have access to multiple swimming pools, landscaped green space, a dog run, an outdoor fitness area, a lounge, and other swanky features.

This is one of dozens of projects bringing thousands of new apartments and condos to Downtown’s most rapidly transforming neighborhood. Within two blocks, at least seven other major projects are now in the works, including a 200-unit condo tower and a massive hotel development with more than 1,000 rooms.

According to the new Hope + Flower leasing site, the development will open its doors to new residents in 2019.
