DELICIOUS Seafood Chapati Recipe from Argentinian Restaurant

This delectable Peruvian recipe comes from Chef María Lazo.”Warm days are coming, I have prepared this practical dish so you can make it without difficulty.” Seafood Chipati. (Chipati, Indian flat bred )

Ingredients:

  • Chapati or Pita (Store Bought)
  • Shrimp or Lobster Tail (Previously Cooked)
  • Golf Sauce
  • Avocado
  • Seeded Kirby Cucumber
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Red Onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Romaine Lettuce
  • Radishes (Thinly Sliced)

Preparation :

  • Wash the shrimp under cold running water. Peel and discard the peels.
  • With a very sharp knife make a cut along the back of the shrimp to discard the vein. Wash again.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat boil water with salt. Add the shrimp (including whole ones), turn the heat to medium low and simmer for 3 minutes or until they turn pink. Transfer the shrimp to a bowl and cool.
  • In a bowl mix the seafood,put aside.
  • Finely chop the red onion and immerse it in cold water to dissipate the gases. Drain the water .
  • Diced Tomatoes, cucumber.
  • Peel the avocados, discard the seed and cut the pulp in dices.
  • Wash throughly lettuce. Put aside
  • In a large bowl combine the seafood mix and the diced vegetables with golf sauce(½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire
  • 1 teaspoon Brandy (optional)
  • Lay the Chapati or Pita bread and spread part of the golf sauce.
  • Garnish with sliced radishes.
